Artisan Plantation Shutters Part of Artisan Wallcoatings Kevin Vincent McMonagle DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY This company mis-sold shutter blinds to my disabled, elderly mother. Kevin informed her that the shutters were manufactured in the UK, this is untrue, the shutters are supplied from China. After paying a deposit of over £1300 my mother was told that they would be delivered and fitted in 4-6 weeks. This was in May 2021. No shutters have ever been fitted. The company and Kevin McMonagle himself have made many promises over the 9 months since the deposit was taken, including stating a cheque had been posted on at least 2 occasions. None have been fulfilled. My mother requested the return of her deposit October 2021. Sadly, in November my mother died. Artisan Shutters and Kevin Mcgonagle have still not returned the deposit or fitted shutters. We are now pursuing the monies through legal routes.

Kevin Vincent McMonagle, Artisan Plantation Shutters has finally returned my money 4 days short of 7 months since I paid the funds to Artisan Limited. I received no contact to advise that these funds had been paid on 14 September 2021. The saga for me at least is at an end and a lesson has been learned. Thanks to companies that allow you to carry out reviews, the unsuspecting mistreated customer has a voice when there are few places to turn. Update to 'Terrible Company' review
Bank details passed to Kevin McMonagle of Artisan Plantation Shutters and his assistant on 20 July 2021 as was promised a refund. Chased consistently since then and despite having been told time and time again that the funds will arrive on various days, I have received no funds to date. Please do your research prior to any dealings with this individual as he is notorious for ripping people off.
Terrible Company
Where to start? Over £500 paid on 18 February 2021. Constant lies and excuses re whereabouts of shutterblind since then. Kevin, at Artisan promised to instal at the end of May 2021 twice but no show and no calls. Did the same to dozens of families, who all complained on social media. A few of them went to the Police, Action Fraud and Trading Standards. As of 19 July 2021, I'm now being told that component parts for 'my' blind are stuck in Belgium. So were you lying in May or now Kevin? I'm confused! Anyway, Kevin told me I'd get a refund if I gave my bank details. Which I did on 20 July 2021 and have received no refund as at 26 July 2021. Really struggling to see how the positive reviews on here are genuine. This company should be avoided at all costs!
